Cathedral Catholic Church Of Immaculee Mary

Attended Mass in this historic Cathedral which now serves an extremely small community of Russians and foreigners. Masses are said in various languages - do check the website. The building, which is close to the Moscow Zoo, is imposing and rises beautifully from a residential district.

There is always access to the inside. The territory is very nice and clean, there is a place to sit. There is a rain canopy for walking. Quiet and safe place to walk with your child. The church staff and nuns are very friendly with anyone who turns to them. Clothes are distributed to those in need.

A small but well-groomed area (although there is some kind of impartial warehouse of boards on the territory) with Christian sculptures, it is nice to sit on a bench and examine the detailed facade, compare it with a sketch from Wikipedia. It was built by Polish Catholics in 1901-19011. There are frescoes on the long side walls. The building was partially destroyed during the war, restoration work was completed in 1999, so you can see more recent bricks in some places. Concerts are held inside the cathedral, at the exit from the territory you can see posters with announcements of concerts. The building is an architectural monument, this cathedral, unlike the Orthodox, is not typical of our buildings, so even if you are not a Catholic, you may be interested in visiting this place
