St. George the Victorious Church

A small pretty church with a freestanding belfry resembling a small turret. From a distance it may seem that the building of the temple is one, but only close it can be seen that the temple and the belfry are separated. Church in very good condition

Two temples next to a very original architecture.

Bell tower of the present church was built at the beginning of the XVI century and belonged to the adjacent temple of the Assumption. The researchers suggest that at the end of the XVII century the bell tower was rebuilt in the church. In the years 1840-1842 the wooden part was demolished, and the place of the old refectory was built a modern church of St. George.

Very beautiful, especially in autumn colors.
