Church of St. George

The temple in honor of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious was founded with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II. The main construction work was completed by 2000. The temple is made of bricks and represents an octagon. Refers to buildings of the rotunda type. The corners of the octagon are decorated with flat pilasters. Platbands of windows are oriented to conventional samples of window decoration in wooden architecture. In place of the central altar window, a dry fresco painting was made. The temple is crowned with an octagonal rounded roof with a massive visor and a tier of bell ringing, passing into a cylindrical drum and onion dome. The interior of the temple was painted in 2001 using the dry fresco technique. In the altar part in the lower register is the image of the "Resurrection of Christ", in the upper "Trinity". In the main space of the church, murals were made on the theme of the life of the holy Great Martyr George. The church has a small frame iconostasis decorated with gilded carvings on a white background.
