Nadvratnaya Tserkov' Simeona Stolpnika

The church with a bell tower was erected in 1732 over the Holy Gate built in the late 17th century. It is made in the Baroque style, decorated with balusters and flys. After the monastery was closed, the checkpoint at the children's colony was located at the gates of the church. By 1982, the three upper tiers of the bell tower church and its head were demolished, and two years later restored to their former forms.

The gate church in the name of the Monk Simeon the Stylite was built over the Holy Gates in 1731-1732. Above the temple rises a 45-meter bell tower built in the Baroque style and richly decorated with tiers of balusters and pants. The bell tower was demolished in the 1930s; only the lower tier is left. In 1984 it was restored to its original form. There are 16 bells on the bell tower, brought mainly from the Volga region. The largest of them was cast in 1886 in Yaroslavl. The bells were taken to the United States and placed on the belfry of Harvard University. After lengthy negotiations, they were returned to the monastery in 2007. The Church of the Monk Simeon the Stylite was consecrated after restoration work on February 27, 1988.
