A small modern temple. Divine services on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Church of St. Leo the Great is the only church in Moscow dedicated to the memory of this great saint, the protector of faith and purity of Orthodoxy. This temple was built with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II in 1997-2007. at the personal expense of Academician Lev Aramovich Piruzyan (1937-2013) - an outstanding scientist in the field of medical biophysics. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the rector of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the Teply Stan (Ostrovityanova St., vl. 1-2), Priest Alexander Zorin was entrusted with the nourishment of the church chapel of St. Leo, Pope of Rome (Ostrovityanova St., d. 8, cor. 1). Since 2015, the Church of St. Leo the Great has been attributed to the church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God - the Patriarchal Compound in the Teply Stan. Divine services are held on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on twelve and great feasts.
