Hotel Ibis Moscow Kievskaya

Clean hotel, welcoming staff, ibis quality. For breakfast you’ll need to pay 1100₽ (if it’s not included in your booking) just because it’s served in Novotel. Location is also great - close to embassies (15mins by buss to Swedish embassy), 5 mins walk to aero express, easily accessible by public transport. Be prepared that walls are thin and you will probably hear your neighbors opening their doors (for me it felt like they tried to break into mine).

No smoking area, only downstairs on lobby floor. Perfect location, just in the heart of the city. Clean rooms.

Location is good, even if a bit far from the touristic center by walk. Security at the entrance is impressive but fair and reassuring about our own security, even if I didn’t feel any insecurity at the hotel surroundings when I was outside. Staff was very friendly, caring and helping. Bed and its mattress were very comfortable. Everything in my room looked modern, recent and of high quality. I had 2 little bottles of water every day, it was pleasant and useful. Wifi was good. Sound-proofing was good, I could not hear my neighbors. I could not hear outside either, windows looked of high quality and I was not directly street side. 2 drawbacks: I needed a shelf in the shower to put my own products and I had to put them on the shower ground. The smoke detectors on the top of the wall had 4 green flashing lights, and it was annoying, please solve it.
