There were no patients in the admission department and for myself I set the so-called patience line at 6 o’clock! At 14:40 I decided to inquire with the head of the reception department about the reasons for such a long wait and began to ask the health workers about the location of his office. And a miracle, instead of the manager’s office, I was immediately taken to the trauma unit No. 26. An examination in the reception department showed that I needed hospitalization for the operation. I told the trauma surgeon of the admission department that I had a dependent 87-year-old mother (disabled person), who is currently isolated from COVID-19 in the country and today I had to bring her food and water. The doctor said that they were not kept in the hospital for a long time with this diagnosis - two, maximum three days. I called my mother and said that I couldn’t come today, but I would come in three days and so that she would save drinking water, because she is not on the site. In the trauma unit No. 26 to my attending physician A.S. Kutuzov, I also reported all the circumstances of my situation. He said that he would do me an operation today and said that I should not drink or eat before the operation, to which I noticed that since 06:00 I haven’t been eating or drinking anything. At 21:35 06/18/2020. the nurse informed me that there would be no operation today, but will take place tomorrow 06/19/2020. and tomorrow, neither will I eat or drink anything. In the morning of 06/19/2020 passed the so-called morning round of doctors together with the head of the department Kalinsky B. M .. We were 4 people in the ward. So the whole round took a maximum of 1 minute. I did not even have time to ask anything about myself. Breakfast passed, lunch, but no one came to me and did not report any information about the operation. And then I saw a young man from room 10B who arrived at the department in the evening of 06/18/2020. and had a diagnosis similar to mine. He said that A. S. Kutuzov had surgery on his collarbone in the morning, and he had already managed to sleep and eat. Then I went to the head of the department, B. M. Kalinsky, and asked when they would have an operation. He said that in 20 minutes they would take me to the operating room. Finally, after 1 hour and 30 minutes they came for me. I would like to express my gratitude to the team conducting the operation under the guidance of the doctor Alekseev D.V. I especially note the high professionalism of the anesthetist Varlamov V.V., who selected the optimal method of anesthesia for me. The operation lasted more than 2 hours. After graduation, I immediately went to the doctor’s room to my doctor in order to find out about my future fate, reminding him (I told him when I entered the department) that I was no later than June 21, 2020. need to check out. But he, like the head of the department, was gone. I asked the nurse on duty to invite the doctor on duty. The arriving doctor answered my questions about the results of the operation and my tests that he had 200 patients and he had no time to spend time on everyone. 06/20/2020 at 03:10 I woke up. I was VERY thirsty. I draw your attention to the fact that for more than 43 hours I did NOT eat ANYTHING and did NOT DRINK, and there was a 40 degree heat in the room. I went out into the corridor and saw a water cooler through the open door in the next room. I returned to the room, took an empty bottle from a neighbor and decided to pour water into it. But as soon as I started to pour water, the nurse Titova M.A. woke up. I told her that I had not drunk 2 days. To which he received an answer that I have no right to drink water from her cooler, because .. water was purchased for her money and went to bed again. I traveled all over the world, I was in many countries, but nowhere have I been treated with such cynical soullessness as here. Every hungry person will share water. In the afternoon I met the doctor on duty, Kashcheev G.A., who for the first and only time told me about the results of the operation and about my examination. Thank you very much for this. 06/21/2020 I checked out of the hospital and brought food and water to my mother. Sorry for such a detailed description of my ordeals. But any experience will be useful if the right conclusion is drawn from it.
