Джаз-клуб «Союз Композиторов»

Me and my family went to see a flamenco concert at this jazz club in March this year. Unfortunately, our experience was rather disappointing. The venue itself is dated and soulless. There is no cosiness to it like you would expect in a jazz club. It is certainly in need of a complete renovation. The tickets can be bought cheaply, but be aware that there are columns doted around the main hall - so you won't be able to see anything if you buy one of the cheaper tickets (this doesn't show up on their website - so you wouldn't know until you get to the place. What a pleasant surprise for someone, isn't it?). The staff aren't particularly friendly or welcoming, so don't expect any quality service here. The food is tasteless, poor quality and completely overpriced for what it is - a total disappointment. If you for whatever reason do decide to visit one of the concerts at this place, buy the tickets at the bar or in the middle part of the venue (the most expensive tickets) to be able to see the stage. And avoid ordering any food from the menu at all costs - god knows where they source their ingredients from! My verdict is that one is going to have a much better overall experience and certainly much better value for the money in any other jazz club in Moscow.

Wonderful place

This is not a simple live music lounge. The atmosphere recall some old fifty movies and I would not be surprise if you catch Humphrey Bogart or Grace Kelly in the crowd. The service is awsome and the quality of Jazz Live music is not comparable to US... Because it is way better!!! The only minus is that nobody speaks in english and if you are not with a native that could be an issue to order. The price is just a little higher than normal, because if you attend live music you have to pay a fee... But it is totally worth it. I strongly reccomend this place for live music lovers and romantic nights.!!!!!

Nice music good ambiance

Nice cozy Club - have been to some gigs there (Moscow Ragtime Band, Viktor Zinchuk, etc.) Atmosphere is really cool because the place is not big and there is a more direct "relation" to the artists. Food is absolutely wonderful - you can eat and drink during the gigs. Kitchen and Staff are doing a brilliant job. Really recommendable!
