The place’s closed. Came to try the famous bird’s milk cake but found it dark and abandoned and there’s no signage of when it’ll open. Not sure what’s happening, might need locals to dig around and provide more context and information.

I went to taste freedom, but in the salad I felt a layer of foundation with Soviet products.

In the corner with the Arbat gourmet we will see the famous Prague restaurant. The stylish and elegant restaurant offers high quality food and operates before the revolution. What makes this restaurant special is that it is the favorite of all Russian cakes here, called "Ptichye Moloko" (pigeon milk). In fact, "Ptichye Moloko" was the first culinary product acquired in the USSR. We came in with curiosity to taste this particular sweet but found the restaurant closed and abandoned.
