On the attached photo you see the picture from the 4th floor of the main building (therapeutuc department) on Jan 12th 2020 evening, around 8pm. The picture wouldn't differ much from the similar on the same day around 1pm (if it had had been taken). The doctor on duty was very nice (and quite young), she acted promptly and professionally in spite of the fact, that she couldn't really do much for us (incurable disease). But she told us, that there were no nurses in the hospital anymore - there're only cleaning ladies. At least provided by the state (free). At the same time there were paid nurses available - costing approx $30 a day. We stayed for about 24 hours in the department till the death of my relative, so there's not much else I can share about the hospital. Maybe just one more detail: upon arrival we were examined in a different building (surgical) and then once examined transported into the main building. The transportation was done with a small bus, where people were put into on the street - near the entrance to the building. So they opened the small bus wide open so that our stretcher could enter. Immediately all the warmth evaporized. We lied there in a thin t-shirt, luckily driving time was just few minutes. The weather was 0 Celsius (32 fahrenheit). When a young and (somewhat) healthy person experiences peculiarities of this hospital - this probably feels just like some roughness of life and it is quite bearable. But when it happens to an incurably ill old person who's dying - it just isn't right. Even though it's probably the best Russian Federation can offer to a 91 year old veteran in 2020, it's just not good enough.

On December 8, unfortunately, I had to get to the UPC for gynecology. I would like to sincerely thank the entire operating room team headed by the doctor A.S. Lukinskaya, who on that day with their kind eyes and words were able to calm and set me up for the operation. Unfortunately, I do not know all the names, but the woman who interviewed and recorded me even remembered my difficult birth 9 years ago. It is very nice. I ask the management of this hospital to think about rewarding these doctors. And God forbid other women, if they enter the UPC, get exactly to A.S. Lukinskaya. Health to you! Mom had an operation yesterday. In the evening, from the intensive care unit, they let me down to the department. No one comes up, they threw them onto the bed, and the job is done The diapers are covered in blood. She asked me to change, they said she wants a lot. Hell on earth, not a hospital. I will complain to the health department and Rospotrebnadzor.
