Khram Vozdvizheniya Kresta Gospodnya V Altuf'yevo

The baroque church was built in 1760-1763. on the site of a stone church in 1687 .. The church was closed only during the Great Patriotic War. Inside there are beautiful paintings, outside there are mosaics. Although after reconstruction it has greatly changed its appearance and interior decoration. Particularly revered icons of the church: a copy of the Kazan image of the Mother of God and the Monk Makarii Zheltovodsky.

A very beautiful place. The temple is picturesquely located on the shore of the pond. Church services are held daily in the morning and evening. The church has a Sunday school for children and adults, a library, and a youth club. Celebrations and cultural events are regularly held in the building of the Altufyevo estate. The modern part of the temple and the bell tower were erected in the 90s of the last century during the reign of Vladyka Jonah (Karpukhin), the honorary rector of the temple, who died in June 2020. His grave is located on the territory of the temple at the altar. In the church there is a locally revered miraculous image of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.

A wonderful place: a large pond in the valley of a small river, in which numerous ducks - mallards and even rare fires - float, flocks of seagulls fly, along the banks - grass covered with a green carpet, flowering bushes of roses and rose hips, luxurious willows with regular round crowns. On the left bank there is a Lianozovo estate with a temple. The manor, unfortunately, is in a deplorable state - it is practically the ruins of its former splendor, but with sufficient investment it can still be restored. The church is small, but very beautiful and cozy inside.
