The modest church built on the money of the manufacturer. In dark times it was a kindergarten, a office, a dwelling house and an archives of the Central Committee of the CPSU. The name of the place is connected with the Chinese gate, which was dismantled in 1934 with the demolition of the wall. Leaving only traces in the underpass.
