An old beautiful church in which in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries my ancestors and their family members were baptized, married and buried ... they lived here, next to Kolobovsky lane (then it was still the 1st Sretensky).

Built in 1676-81. The pillarless temple, consists of a two-light cubic quadruple, completed with a hill of kokoshniks and a five-domed church, and adjoining it from the east of the three-part apse, from the west of the refectory and 3-level tent bell tower. At the end of the XVII century. on the north side of the refectory was built the chapel of Clement of the Pope, decided as a small independent church, consisting of a five-domed quadruple and a refectory. Closed in 1930, adapted to a physics laboratory. Restoration work was carried out in 1965-1969. Effective since 1997.

Very beautiful. Can be unique to say. Parishioners would not so much as we would like. It emanates from the temple protection. The soul is resting. Seventh Radonitsa, commemorate the dead.

The ancient temple of the 17th century. The history of the temple is associated with the archers. Across the road Petrovka 38. The Moscow police department is located there. In the courtyard of the church there is a monument to Moscow detectives.
