It is a place of devotion for all Muscovites with a very long tradition of pilgrimages for the icon of the Madonna "the Joy of all the afflicted" considered miraculous for centuries. The gigantic candlestick says it comes from the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, what it was even before the explosion of 1931. Quiet and peace.
