My daughter asks me "Shall we study dogs better?" and I agreed. If you are to find this museum, you should be a detective seeing that it is situated in the ground floor, so even if you have a map, you may loose your way easily. The place itself is rather small and stinky. So as not to spend a lot of money, the founders have decorated everything without following any plan or concept. In the event they had asked the professional designer to facilitate their attempts, they would attract more visitors indeed. Despite presenting their enterprise to be the museum of the dog, the place is actually dog-free. It is all about photos. Rarely had I roamed around such a poorly designed place before. Only after I entered the first room, did I realize that the excursion was imperative. For the sake of education I was moving around the place, whilst my daughter was listening to complex explanations of what the dog had done for humankind. With affect from the first minute it was tedious. Such huge was a number of photos of dogs and so poor was the quality of printing, I decided to take photos of the walls. No sooner had we left the museum, I realized that I should have read reviews before I made up my mind to visit the place.

The excursion is very exciting, there are many photos. The museum, although small, has collected a lot of exhibits. A nice woman led an interesting excursion. She told everything in detail, described it! We didn’t notice how the whole hour flew by !!! Touching war stories, stories from people's lives. After the museum, only positive emotions !!!

I am delighted with the museum and the excursion, which Olga Borisovna conducted in a very lively and exciting way. The museum is small (by the way, every room now has air conditioning), but how much interesting material has been collected about people and their four-legged friends. Unusual and touching stories about the Great Patriotic War (defense of Moscow, helping signalmen and orderlies, soldiers), land development, space (Belka and Strelka had other nicknames, how many dogs have been in space), canister therapy. About passionate people and loyal animals. Unknown facts and amazing exhibits. You can buy interesting books about dogs. Very interesting quizzes for preschoolers and schoolchildren. Master classes. Nice little museum. Some of the exhibits on display in the museum are unique. A guided tour is included in the ticket price. For an hour we were told a lot of different facts and information. It can be seen that the guide is passionate about her business, listening to her was not boring and interesting. The museum is suitable for all ages and for families with children.
