He was drunk, but he behaved culturally, lay on a gurney and kept asking the doctors what was wrong with him. They called a psychiatrist who came and started joking about the delirium and the dark future of my father, while my mother and I are standing in the office and listening to it all !!! I made a remark to them, after which we were honored with at least some attention. After a short conversation, the psychiatrist gave some papers for signature. Father refused to sign them, fearing future problems with work. And instead of spending 30 seconds of valuable time explaining how these papers can affect a person’s fate, a psychiatrist throws them on the table with the words “you saw, you saw everything, he refused!” and leaves on his urgent matters. Why is this show? I always thought that the task of the doctor is to help the patient recover. But this man clearly wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible. Further, the father was diagnosed with pneumonia, hearing about which our neurologist and colleague began to lament how many pieces of paper they filled. The final chord was that I cried, but I was not asked to sit down or drink a glass of water, just zero reaction. You know, I understand everything, hard work, but it is hard for most people !! I did not expect such unprofessionalism and indifference from people called doctors.
