The most interesting and eye-catching museum in all of Moscow is the House Museum of Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev. From the outside, the museum incredibly attracts ordinary passers-by with catchy and bright giant graffiti of the writer himself on the wall of a neighboring building, prompting him to visit the family mansion, if only for the sake of interest. Already at the entrance and throughout your stay in the walls of the house, you will notice a well-chosen, polite and courteous staff, including security guards, guides, cloakroom attendants, as well as caretakers who are ready to tell about the exhibits and the life of the writer without an ordered excursion. Very pleased and convenient cell left-luggage office. During the visit, it is difficult not to appreciate the magnitude of the restoration work carried out in 2018: besides the fact that you are completely immersed in the era of the 19th century, feeling like a close friend of Ivan Sergeyevich, you do not lose the feeling and interest and comfort that are so necessary at the present time: the cashier is kindly shares an excursion map at the very beginning and the opportunity to purchase an audio guide in Russian and English, electronic tablets with all kinds of information are presented in each thematic hall, and in the Main Hall you can even see with your own eyes the pleasant modernization of an old relic - a 3D exposure of a locket with a lock of hair A.S. . Pushkin. The best part is that the house museum has its own halls to visit it in a large company, while practically not experiencing crowding. Despite the fact that the mansion is largely famous for the fact that it is here that the Mumu event is taken as the basis, the museum has a separate room in which many other works of the writer and letters are presented, often in foreign languages. The biography does not seem to be something far away, but what happened almost to you - this is largely facilitated by the interior of the museum: in the hearts of the writer’s mother’s heart, the photograph was comfortably placed on the floor as part of the exhibition. Of the minuses, it is worth noting only the price for the tour (it, of course, is compensated by the audio guides, but this is not enough for everyone) - 2250 rubles per group for up to fifteen people. A regular visit justifies the cost, it even seems cheap.
