The majestic building of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker of Mirlikisky stands on a dais. The stone building was built in the 18th century, and before that there was a wooden structure. The temple itself has existed since the 15th century. The parishioners of the temple were royal persons from the Romanov family, the family of Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov and, of course, ordinary people who lived in the area of Pokrovskaya and Rubtsovskaya Sloboda. The place is holy, prayed for. There are three limits in the church: the central one of St. Nicholas and two lateral ones: the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos and the holy foremost apostles Peter and Paul. There is a large hall for the parishioners inside. During the years of persecution (the thirties of the last century), services were stopped and the Temple was closed by the Bolsheviks. It housed bakery No. 13. The building was partially rebuilt, the bell tower, the dome, etc. were demolished. The bakery worked until 1992 and was closed due to an emergency. The building was transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church and work began to restore the restoration. Archimandrite Dionisy (now deceased) supervised the work. The multi-tiered bell tower was built again, the dome part was repaired. The iconostasis is installed. The painting of the iconostasis, altar and dome is beautifully done, with biographies of saints and scenes from the Bible. Across the road, on the even side of the street, there is another Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, but unfortunately it is in a dilapidated state and the work of my restoration, if they are carried out, is extremely slow. And he makes an impression.

September 4, could hear the gospel according to Mark 1: 23-28 In their synagogue was a man possessed by an unclean spirit, and cried out: leave it! What do you care about us, Jesus of Nazareth? You came to destroy us! I know you who you are, holy of God. But Jesus forbade him, saying: shut up and leave him. Then the unclean spirit, shaking it and crying out in a loud voice, came out of it. And everyone was horrified, so they asked each other: what is this? What is the new teaching that He commands the unclean spirits with authority, and they obey Him? And soon rumors spread over him throughout the whole region in Galilee.

The stone church with the chapels of Peter and Paul and Pokrovsky was built in the interval between the years 1765-1766. The current bell tower of the beginning of the XIX century. In 1889-1893, the temple was built on and expanded, the altars of the aisles were nominated in one row with the main one. In the 1740-1750s, commander Alexander Suvorov lived in the parish of the church [1]. In 1931, the temple was closed. The building was converted into a bakery. In 1984, the bakery was closed due to the emergency condition of the building. In 1992, the rebuilt and dilapidated church was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church. In 1995, the first worship services began. Currently, the parish at the temple is shared with the Pokrovskaya Church located across the road. The temple is the center of Epiphany decency.

This is a wonderful prayer place, the Temple, which was restored with great love, where the choir sings like angels! Here, donated by Father Cyril Metropolitan, the Pyukhtinsky Icon of the Mother of God, the New Icon of Gabriel Urgebadze with a part of the relics, a part of the relics of many Orthodox saints! Here they will always console, listen and give advice!
