My wife and I are very impressed by what we have seen, heard and even touched - yes, here we can give a touch to the world of amphibians in the literal sense. Did you know, for example, that frogs blink when they swallow their prey, not from pleasure, but from the fact that their eyes bulge out from the inside of the pharynx and participate in pushing food? Have you seen live toads the size of a bicycle saddle, which swallow caterpillars with lightning speed? And vice versa - very cute frogs-tree frogs, with whom you want to talk for life and give a little five to their four-toed paw? And I'm just talking about one room with amphibians. There are also ancient and transitional fish species, a room with nocturnal butterflies, a whole piece of rainforest with palm trees, ficuses and bamboo thickets. Special thanks to our guides: Elena and Alexander. You guys are amazing. Thanks to you, we seem to have been on an expedition. They told us so many interesting facts, literally explained complex things on our fingers, showed the video. There is no limit to our gratitude to you. All in all, for anyone who loves BBC wildlife films and Attenborough's broadcasts, we recommend this pavilion and a tour of it.
