Small supermarket with all basic needs

The only convenience store right next to the port (10 minutes walk). If you are enjoying a cruise and your ship has stopped in Moscow canal, this is probably the closest market to you. Water, shaving/bathing/washing materials, food products, snacks, water, sodas, alcohol. Just remember: In Russia it is forbidden for stores to sell alcohol before 11am so don't rush there in the morning. If tou decide to go there at night make sure you are in a group of 4-5 people because you have to walk a 500 meters distance through a PITCH BLACK park, and then go down a scary-movie-like long underpass that crosses the road!! Keep in mind that some stores may ask for your passport in order to sell you alcohol, in order to verify your age. Some will ask for it even if you look like 50 years old. I know, it's weird, but it's the law.

The assortment is excellent, the staff is tidy, it has been many times, the impression is consistently good.
