Even under Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich this temple was built. He went through a rather huge period of time: he went through the Patriotic War, through the persecution of the Soviet government, through ruin (in Soviet times, he served as a warehouse). But the Tikhvin temple was reborn again and continues to conduct divine services. This is a great spiritual place in which God's grace reigns.
