A nice forest. I often walk or run or roller or cycle here since I moved to Vostochnoe Izmailovo.

A wonderful place is quite close to the densely populated eastern part of the capital. Officially, the park is called the Ismaylovsky Natural History Park. I'd say that the park is ideal for many types of recreation, sports and social events. Ismayilovsky Park is one of the largest in Moscow in terms of area. Its area is more than 1600 hectares. As I can see, the entire park can be divided into two main areas. The first one is a forest park zone, where the minimum number of entertainment facilities is implemented. It's located closer to the МКАД and to the district Ivanovo. Some logical extension of the forest zone (The Park Terletsky) is located on the opposite side of the Enthusiasts highway. Here is a dense forest, eight ponds (I counted), the largest of which is Lebedyansky. The Red Pond and Decorative Ponds are very popular among visitors to the park, there are many amazing landscapes, beautiful coniferous and deciduous trees, pedestrian bridges, ducks, swans, squirrels. There are many birds and in moments of silence, you can enjoy their singing. These places are equipped with many benches and picnic spots. There are sports fields (or courts) and fitness equipment. As a huge lover of bicycle paths, I'm highlighting a great number of specially constructed asphalt paths, gravel and paths with a natural landscape for cycling. I usually don’t notice how many hours of riding in these areas I spend. The second area of the park is cultural and entertainment. It is closer to the MCC ring and stretches along the railway line itself. You can get into this part both on the MCC train - Sokolinaya Gora, Izmailovo station, and at the metro station Partizanskaya. This part of the park has a lot of infrastructures. There is a Ferris wheel, a ring lake with a boat station, rental bicycles and scooters, tennis courts, a monument to the soldiers of the Second World War with an exhibition of military equipment, even a library with real books (!), a lot of cafes and pavilions for snacks, beautiful lighting in the evenings. There is a 1.5 km (one mile) speed bike path in this part of the park. The territory is guarded. I saw a multifunctional medical center for visitors. In general, the park is very clean and well maintained. All in all a great place to enjoy nature and have a good time with family or friends.

Make your trip by kickscooter, bycicle etc. and you'll totally enjoy this place. The park has huge territory - so be ready to spend a lot of time there, take some food and water with you. Google map is recommended to use if you dont want to get lost ;) There 2 park parts - first one is more wild, second one is modern - with lots cafes and some activities.

A wonderful place with a wonderful guide who took us through the ruins of a Stalinist restaurant and told its story. After walking kilometers through the forest, we came across a hedgehog in the fog, although we were already in the fog at that moment, a few glasses of barberry had an effect an hour earlier. Behind him opened a view of a huge pond with a sluice, not far from which I left a note with a message. Walking to the metro through the dark in the thick of the forest with just one dying match, you understand how much your life is dependent on external factors, insignificant and insignificant. Just a wonderful place: 10 Soviet tiles out of 10.
