Starbucks

Today my colleague went to Starbucks in this location for lunch. The cashier was a woman named Natalia, she told that the payment didn't go through the first time and said to try again. However, in fact, first time the payment was successful. This is proved by the fact that my colleague receives notifications every time she pays for anything. In this instance, she got the notification twice. So, my colleague told the cashier, Natalia, about this and she was not cooperative at all. Moreover, she didn't have the proof that the payment didn't go through. Nevertheless, she tried to assure her by saying that the payment will be refunded. Therefore, to be sure my colleague called the bank and the representative said that the payment won't be refunded because it doesn't show up as a mistake in their system. In conclusion, all the evidence points that it was the cashier's fault, Natalia. After all, she called the bank herself and cancelled the transaction, which leads to the question: why she couldn't do this in the first place? It is totally unacceptable to mistreat the customer by forcing to spend so much time and nerves trying to prove something so simple. I thought Starbucks was a prestigious American brand in and out the US but after this incident, I'm of a different opinion. In addition, the pictures which are in Google right now are not the same like in reality today.
