I’ve worked with Simply English for well over a year now and have loved every second. Not only has it allowed me to teach a diverse range of students in a safe, encouraging environment, but it’s also facilitated my desire to live abroad. Jack and the team at Simply English have supported my teaching career in Moscow every step of the way and I couldn’t be more grateful. I would recommend Simply English wholeheartedly, the best English school in Moscow!

My experience working at Simply English was nothing less than amazing. From the moment I arrived at the airport, I was welcomed and supported until the end of the school year. I received proper training and always felt confident to meet the demands of an english teacher in Moscow. Living in a country where I could not speak the language was challenging at times, but the office staff were always willing to help me in any way they could. Whether it be understanding cultural norms or offering free Russian language lessons, I always knew I had a supportive staff who wanted me to succeed as a teacher. One of the best parts about working for Simply English was the diversity of teaching experiences. I had private students and group lessons of different ages and at different proficiency levels. Lessons were located in different parts of the city, so I had the opportunity to discover and explore Moscow as I was working. This made every day new and exciting! Outside of teaching, the company held social events that allowed me to meet other teachers from a variety of countries and form a social life. What more could I ask for? Simply English allowed me to grow and flourish as a teacher, and I now have more confidence and resources to meet new challenges. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wishes to teach in Moscow and thrive as an english teacher!

I worked for Simply English Moscow for two years. The experience was fabulous. I found that the job was exactly as advertised. Yes, most teachers spend a lot of time traveling from one class to another (not the case for me because I was at one school, but the case for most teachers). Yes, the first month of the school year can be chaotic as the Russian schools don't plan as far ahead as some of us are used to. Yes, the Moscow winters are long, dark and cold. However, it was exactly the adventure I was looking for! The Simply English staff were extremely attentive to my needs and always available and responsive. The apartment they placed me in was comfortable, and authentic, with easy access to transportation. The staff did a great job orienting us new teachers and being available throughout, for help with shopping, banking, phone, logistics, medical care, whatever, whenever. And Moscow is a revelation. The downtown is gorgeous, especially in winter, believe it or not! There is no shortage of amazing things to do and see in and around Moscow and of course many travel opportunities in the region. In sum: Simply English is straightforward and reliable. You will work hard, all the while getting to know the city and the people. You will get paid on time, will have your apartment, utitlities, transportation arranged for you, and in the bargain you will get to experience one of the world's great cities. If not for COVID considerations I would still be there.

Teaching and living in Moscow the last ten months was my first experience working abroad. The decision to work for Simply English was great and I very much enjoyed living and working in Moscow. Almost everyone I met in Moscow was warm and friendly. I was constantly amazed at how many Russians I would encounter who spoke just a little English. I had no trouble navigating the city or finding what I needed to live and enjoy Moscow. It was a little frustrating not receiving timely information or feedback about my students or my teaching skills from the private school. I do get the sense this is common with Russian schools and not unique about my private school. It was also a little frustrating to work with the medical clinics to get the medicine I needed, but with staff support from Simply English, everything did work out well. Teaching the kids at the private school was a wonderful experience and one I will never forget. I will always have fond memories of my time living and working in Moscow.
