An interesting museum, wonderful guides, real enthusiasts and keepers of history

Despite its size, the museum is fully-fledged. not every village can boast of historical events on a national scale. Spouses Kochetkov will give you an unforgettable excursion not only through the museum, but also through the village. In the village there are a lot of old houses with carved platbands of various schools and directions. There was one house of the Petrine era, not far from the village council (between the village council and the ferry).

The museum is located in a small mansion of the 19th century (the Bronins' house is a monument of cultural heritage) and tells about the centuries-old history of the village of Dedinovo. Because Since the museum was opened for the 300th anniversary of the Russian fleet, one of the halls is completely devoted to the construction of the Orel ship and a visit to the village by Peter I. Another hall tells about the merchant's past of the village and about peasant life. The other two halls, apparently with a variable exposure, narrate about the modern history of the village. The museum is small but interesting. After visiting the museum, I recommend finding a few hours and wandering around the village itself (both on the right-bank side and on the left-bank side), which itself is an open-air museum with a large number of cultural heritage sites. If there is time, I recommend visiting the nearby villages: Lyubichi, Catchers, Belomut.
