An excellent budget hotel in the very center of Sergiev Posad, a 5-minute walk from the Lavra. Category 2 stars, but actually all 5) of course, Hilton lovers may not like it, but I highly recommend it to other travelers! Booked a Superior room for 3 nights in December, three of us stayed. The room has a double bed and additionally put a folding bed. Number 23 on the 2nd floor of a historic building, textured brick ceilings, windows overlooking a quiet pedestrian street (though it was in December!). The furniture is not new, but not killed either, a good mattress, pillows, slept well! For a very modest budget, we received disposable slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and shower gel, kettle, tea and coffee, daily cleaning and change of towels and even breakfast) by the way, breakfast should be chosen at the reception, this is not a buffet - which one you choose then you get. And if you suddenly forget to choose, then you will not have breakfast) Breakfast is delicious, although not varied: milk porridge, sandwiches with cheese and sausage, eggs, sausages in dough, pancakes, tea and coffee without restrictions. There is a cooler on the floor, you can get drinking water. There is a small parking lot, but there is also a public free one nearby. Within a 5-minute walk there are restaurants and cafes, the main attractions.

Great place to stay, 5 minutes walk to the center and 10 minutes to the Lavra. Clean, beautiful, quiet. Private parking. The only drawback is that you had to wait 5 minutes for hot water in the bathroom.

Nice hotel very close to the Lavra. Especially interesting are the first floor with a reception and a cafe and the second floor with rooms. The third floor is more modern and somehow it was not interesting for me to go there. Helpful staff.

An excellent cozy hotel with an amazing atmosphere of home warmth! Polite staff, everything is clean and comfortable. The maids are very polite, they clean up the conscience. Very nice and tidy rooms, all freshly renovated. The building is old, so the area near the reception has low arched ceilings, which is very colorful. The room rate includes breakfast - every day at the reception we mark a breakfast of your choice in the menu. The breakfasts are decent and tasty - always porridge, scrambled eggs, sausages, yoghurts, hot sandwiches - we don't stay hungry. At the reception you can buy water and juices, prices are not overpriced and it is very convenient that you do not have to run to the store. Within walking distance of the Lavra and the Museum, there are many cafes nearby.
