The monument to the fallen soldiers of the 16th army is located on a hill near the village of Butyrki. There are thousands of such monuments throughout the country. They were built in the postwar years. This monument is well preserved; it is looked after and repaired. Every year on May 9, local residents and schoolchildren gather around him to commemorate those who died in the war.
