Worth a day trip from Moscow. Medieval city castle (Kreml), architectural monument. + Unique is the urban development along the Kremlin wall. Very large parts of the historic wall no longer exist today. Between the towers that still exist today, small terraced houses have been built along the line of the wall - unique. + Interesting, open Kremlin + nice view of the Moskva River. + good tourist infrastructure. + traffic-free zones. Downtown along the main street. On the outskirts the river Moskva flows into the river Oka.

Very often we drive past Kolomna, but we decided to come to the Kremlin for the first time. A wonderful place, just like Kolomna itself, which left an excellent impression of its center - the preserved low-rise city gives a feeling of large space and historical beauty. The Kremlin territory is very large, there are many museums, but for a day it was enough to just walk. I recommend everyone to visit. By the way, not everyone knows, but in addition to its marshmallow, Kolomna is famous for kalachi. Google "kalachnaya Kolomna", and in the same place nearby, be sure to look at the unique floating bridge across the Moskva River. With children, you can also visit the Peace Park with playgrounds and attractions.

Prepared for lesser impressions, but were pleasantly surprised by the good condition of the Kremlin, the well-thought-out infrastructure from free parking lots and paid (and terrible) toilets, to places of rest and snack after festivities. Near the park with a fountain, and cool park beds :). In general, a lot of impressions. We arrived one day from Moscow. It was enough.
