The museum is quite good, but there is still room for development. It should be noted a good pricing policy, it is friendly to visitors. The museum has a great atmosphere, helpful staff who will show and tell everything. Visiting it, I paid only 100 rubles and received very positive emotions and I consider it a reasonable price, especially the museum exhibits are very interesting to those who love photography. There is also an excellent bookstore with photos of various authors at good prices. I highly recommend visiting this museum, since in my opinion it is worthy.

The Museum of Russian Photography (MRF) was opened in April 2010 and is a subdivision of the Museum of Organic Culture. The main goal is to create a museum space of a modern aesthetic and technical level, specializing in the study of Russian photography. The museum has a permanent exhibition "Historical Pages of Russian Photography" and periodic exhibitions of authors supporting the concept of the Museum of Organic Culture - "the world as an organic whole".

09/22/2019 - Extremely disappointed with a visit to the Museum of Russian Photography in Kolomna. Schoolchildren from Moscow were not allowed into the museum, slamming the door literally in front of their nose. It was motivated by the fact that the museum can be reached only by appointment.; Moreover, the museum website says that excursions by appointment only on Wednesdays and Thursdays, all other days admission is free. I really hope for an apology from the leadership of the museum.
