The museum is very interesting. One of the few museums of anarchists in the whole world. Would be just great to have more attention from administration.

🏠 in Dmitrov, near Moscow, where Pyotr Alekseevich Kropotkin, one of the Russian theorists of anarchism, a prince and a geographer, lived his last years. On the second floor there is a small museum of nature and a mineralogical museum. An interesting exposition, I would like to examine some of the exhibits in more detail. There are many covers of the then media outlets with photos of Kropotkin. A small informative review film about the life of the owner. Modern materials on anarchism. There is even a screenshot with a demotivator about Viktor Tsoi.

The museum has a very small area, but it is full of interesting exhibits, both related to the life of Pyotr Kropotkin and to the themes of his political views. You can familiarize yourself with some of the articles that he wrote during his lifetime, drawings of his authorship related to geographical activities, and so on. Of course, you should not expect too much from the museum, after all, this is a small two-story house, but for its size it copes very well with the function of a museum. On the second floor there is a reconstruction of the local history exposition, in which Kropotkin once took part

The second floor of the exposition is very interesting. stones and minerals are gorgeous.

It is very useful to watch a film about Kropotkin, you can pay for viewing along with buying tickets to the museum.
