The church is now dilapidated, the bell tower is destroyed, the churchyard is riddled, but the services are held periodically. Earlier in these places there was a rich village of Ilkodino, through which the Vladimir highway ran. The road to the church from Mischeron is usually passable even for a regular crossover. But look at the weather, in heavy rain or in the snowy winter can be a problem.

The ancient church in the former village of Ilkodino. Hard to reach enough. Beautiful places around. The forest is rich in mushrooms and berries, but travel only in dry weather. The village was settled in 50 years due to the construction of a military training ground. And there are many such memorable places.
