A very interesting museum. After the renovation, the historic building became even more interesting outside and inside, where red brick masonry was preserved in some places, the ceilings on the 2nd floor were brought closer to the arches. There is a good permanent exhibition and wonderful art exhibitions combined with historical ones. Concerts can be held during exhibition openings. The museum is small, but it leaves a very pleasant impression, both from the expositions and from the people working in it, who, apparently, are very fond of their job!

The local history museum is interesting with exhibits, photographs, telling about the life of citizens, the development of the city, its economy, architecture and much more. The museum is small, compact; You can see and learn a lot about the city in a relatively short time. What a pleasant surprise-the entrance was free （i. free）. I recommend to visit, including with children, family. It will be interesting for the residents of Schelkovo (for those who were not at the museum), and for guests of the city.

A good place to learn more about Schelkovo and the area. There are educational games for children. My son liked it and this is important! Prices are not big at all. For an adult 60, for a child 40 rubles. Photo 80 rubles.

We liked everything. The museum is small, but very skillfully everything is located. One exposition with representatives of flora and fauna, many different types of spinning wheels. The interior of the Russian hut, clothing of different classes. On the second floor of the exposition of the first and second world war: military uniforms, uniforms nurses, the contents of medical briefcases. Separately, I want to mention a recipe book from the time of the first world. By the way, for free, it surprised me. Caretakers interestingly tell, answer questions. Visitors, you can say no (we were there 2 times).
