Since 2002, the chapel of Alexander Nevsky has been located at the Memorial Cemetery of Soviet Soldiers, where the remains of soldiers who died in battles near Rzhev in 1941-1943 are buried. The chapel, built of white stone in the traditional Russian style, looks rather modest. The chapel is active.
