I entered the university in 2016 and I want to share my opinion. Before applying here, you must clearly understand that the university in St. Petersburg and the Moscow branch differ radically, and this is important, because you will spend the 5th course in St. Petersburg. And you can be sure that the difference will immediately catch your eye. Let’s in order, what is the Moscow branch inferior to the flagship from St. Petersburg? 1. For 4 courses of study in the Moscow branch, all the knowledge gained on the design of work does not at all correspond to the standards from St. Petersburg. 2. To correspondence students too condescending attitude, even the most not gifted with intelligence students will close the session without problems. Therefore, it makes no sense to strain and learn something at all. Unlike St. Petersburg, where the top three is quite a good result, and only geniuses get the top five. 3. If the university in St. Petersburg is located almost in the center, 5 minutes from the metro, then in Moscow it is frankly located among the dirt and debris. With transport, the situation is no better, be prepared for clogged minibuses that run every 40 minutes. All thanks to the district "Mendeleevo" which is terrible. Although it should be given its due, the territory of the university is always clean. 4. It is quite normal here when the teacher does not come to classes, since some disciplines are taught by people who do not work in SPbGUP on a permanent basis. Especially a teacher of cultural studies, this is a separate topic, it is still a mystery how she could get a job as a teacher ?!
