I would say that this museum is a model of trams. The area of the museum itself is not more than 1 tram;) Nevertheless, despite the size, the museum is very interesting for both adults and children. I recommend not to spare money for a tour of the museum, as you will not find out about many interesting things during an individual visit! The guide is knowledgeable, rooting for his job, the tour is not tiring and very interesting.

A very interesting collection of tram models from different countries and times. The museum is small, but you have to go with a guided tour that takes place several times a day. Without an excursion there will not be the impression that the guide brings - a person who is clearly enthusiastic and inspiring visitors. But, in my opinion, the exposition itself would have looked much better if the models were on rails. Well, at the end of the excursion I wanted to sit down, but it turned out that there wasn’t where ((

It is not by chance that Kolomna became the foundation site of this unique museum. It was here, at the Kolomensky Zavod, in 1891, the first domestic electric tram car was built. Kolomna is the only city in the Moscow Region in which a dynamically developing tram enterprise has been operating steadily for almost 70 years! All this with good reason gives the right to call Kolomna the Motherland of the Russian tram! And having arrived here, one cannot fail to visit the Tram Museum! Our old friend tram, in whose life there have been ups and downs, successes and failures, is now experiencing its own renaissance. It is recognized as the most convenient, reliable and environmentally friendly form of urban transport. During an hour-long excursion around the Tram Museum, you will rediscover this regular town. The museum’s collection, which now features nearly 200 models of tram cars, will tell about old and modern trams of all continents, as well as the islands of Japan and Great Britain.

On the 1st floor there will be a model of trams with a description of when, by whom it was released and in which cities they went on the rails, a film will be shown on the 2nd floor
