S.s.s.r. Khimki "Perestroyka"

My husband and I bought subscriptions to this fitness club a year and a half ago. At a very tempting price, there was a promotion for the club's birthday. Actually because of this, they closed their eyes to a lot. There are enough simulators in the cardio zone, a third of them are constantly broken / inoperative. The pool is small, the employees constantly lie about its size, considering the guests just fools, for the sake of their own interest they measured themselves. The towels are sometimes torn, sometimes stained, but they consistently smell of dampness and musty. During the entire period of the subscription, we realized that the employees did not care what was going on in the club, they did not react at all to requests and comments. If they don't need it, even more so for us. Employees themselves violate safety regulations, what can I say here. As a result, they regretted that they had not paid several thousand more and had not bought a subscription to the neighboring USSR. We will not renew it unambiguously. The last visit just killed. A hairdryer was drilled in the women's locker room and a long heavy chain was hung. They are not interested in any safety technique or convenience of the guests. In these photos everything is related to you. After my numerous complaints, this terrible curtain was finally replaced (before that, its employees did not notice). Bottles with water near the hot structure in the sauna are a common thing, everyone is not lazy, the employees turn a blind eye to this. I didn’t use group exercises or a gym with weights. The red price for a subscription for a year is 6-8 thousand. A big plus that it is round the clock.

Visited the USSR fitness center - Khimki Perestroika (former Zebra), this summer. Before buying a subscription, I carefully read and examined the gym itself, for the presence and variety of certain strength training equipment, as well as showers and changing rooms. The day before, I looked at 2 more fitness centers within walking distance from the Khimki railway station, they did not suit me with either a gym or a pricing policy. I was pleasantly surprised in the fitness center by the cost of an unlimited subscription at that time: 3 months - only 9000 rubles, with the possibility of round-the-clock visits. These conditions suited me perfectly. The gym itself, small, probably no more than 250 m2, but compactly accommodated a good enough number of exercise machines. Everything you need to train the main muscle groups is there, including the required number of dumbbells, additional equipment, barbell bars and pancakes for them. The fitness center itself has a very small swimming pool, sauna and hammam. The air ventilation system in the force hall was well-oiled, it breathed well and freely, there was no stuffiness, dampness and humidity. What can not be said about the locker room and shower room: of course there was ventilation, but obviously it could not cope with the air exchange. The staff at the reception and in the sales department are quite friendly: calm young guys with a pleasant appearance and a well-delivered speech, they all answered my questions normally. The trainers at GYM are quite experienced and strong guys, I liked everything: they are very sociable, they always say hello, and can prompt if necessary. Although I have enough experience in training, I still spied for myself a small number of tricks and subtleties that they showed other guys in personal training. All of them explained the exercises well and competently for those who wanted to become strong, strong and healthy, there were even those trainers who had the old school of the 80-90s, and this is good. Two quite normal dressing rooms, with good large lockers for clothes, good toilets and washbasins, with all the toiletries provided. Shared shower room (not separate, but separate cabins), but this did not bother me in any way. The level of finishing of the premises corresponds to the average level of the fitness center. At the entrance to the fitness center, they gave out big good towels, but sometimes they weren't there ...)))! I always trained in the gym with great pleasure, I was happy, cheerful and in a good mood! I recommend this fitness center for a constant visit both for training and for relaxation! When I am in Khimki, I will definitely visit this place.

What a person who came to play sports for the first time might like is an abundance of exercise equipment, a swimming pool, a solarium. I am for the USSR !!!!

The hall is good for the money but the simulators are a bit old and the pool is small. In principle, after a bath you can plunge but not swim.
