Grace, a pity that it is dilapidated

I need to double-check, but maybe I know part of the history of the appearance of this temple. This is Byzantine architecture - "Dome on sails". The main example is the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople, Aya-Sofia / Greek. Ἁγία Σοφία.

Very beautiful and big temple for the Russian hinterland. Though it is abandoned, it still impressed me with a majestic view from the road. I want to look inside and learn the history of the temple.
