As an option to visit, yes, but not necessary. Animal mummies flowing at the entrance, a hall with armor and other military attributes, a posthumous mask of Pushkin (he drove through Yelets), a music room, children's and women's rooms with a mirror and a stove. Interestingly, but if there is little time, you can skip it. Adult ticket is also 60 rubles.

Museum "Alas and ah." We were alone in the museum. It is assembled from everything in a row: here is the house of the merchant Zausaylov, and stuffed animals and birds, and ancient weapons, and the Great Patriotic War, and many other various exhibits. Not everything, as I understood, is connected with Yelets in principle. You can not, visiting the museum, find out what is the Elec. Museum workers are responsive and happy to say something. Life hacking for all museums: if you feel that you are bored, connect the museum workers, and get either an interesting and enthusiastic story, or you will understand that it is time to leave.

A good provincial museum. It is located on Lenin Street in the old part of Yelets. About this museum I have memories from my childhood: some panoramas, figurines, stuffed animals, in general, many interesting things, especially for children, rather younger and middle-aged. This place in Yelets is definitely worth a visit.
