The Museum of Local Lore in Lebedyan is an invariable meeting place for those who are interested in the history of their small homeland. In 2019, celebrates its 100th anniversary. During this time, many pleasant and caring people devoted to their work worked here.

She received great pleasure from communicating with the exhibits themselves, and from communicating with an excellent caretaker, a very nice woman. The friendly atmosphere, love and care is felt in every word, in every centimeter. I highly recommend visiting this museum to both children and adults.

Our Lebedyansk Museum of Local Lore is one of the oldest in the region, it was created in 1919. The exposition of the modern museum is located in 6 rooms. It has an exhibition character. The main excursions: “Lebedyan - a historical sketch”, “Literary Lebedyan”, “Orthodox places of the region”, “Monuments of history and culture”. A sightseeing tour is built on the principle of a time ribbon, thematically divided according to the main eras and presents the history of Lebedyansky Krai from ancient times to the recent past by the example of genuine finds.
