Very interesting museum to see how work and social life was like on both poles on the earth, worth a visit with interesting things to see.

Many cool pieces from Russian/Soviet Arctic and Antarctic history. Wish more exhibits had English descriptions but cool nevertheless

Randomly stumbled upon here when I was walking around the city. The price for a student was around 225 rubles. Most of the exhibits were in Russian, but as an architecture and more like a "Soviet museum" it can be interesting to see for a tourist. I especially liked the "3D illustrations of some events" in which they have a background painting and little objects to make it more realistic.

Would have been better if any of it was in English. Managed to decipher that this is the founding home of the Bad Taxidermy Fox and his not so famous the Wonky Prosthetic Polar Bear
