Priory Palace is an original palace in Gatchina (Гатчина), Russia. It was built in 1799 by the architect N. A. Lvov on the shore of the Black Lake (Chyornoye ozero / Чёрное озеро). Constructed for the Russian Grand Priory of the Order of St John, it was presented to the Order by a decree of Paul I of Russia dated August 23, 1799.

A very interesting building of the time when Emperor Paul was the Master of the Order of Malta.

Landscapes are awesome especially in autumn. But security of the museum was rude and we wasn't allowed to come even inside the yard, because of paid entrance and closed boxoffice.

Little castle. Very impressive in wintertime. Good acoustic inside.
