Excellent place to learn about Russian history, trars and enjoy Russian art. Was pleasantly surprised to see modern technologies in this museum.

Paul I built this in 1800, because he didn't like to live in Winter palace and wanted his own castle. Unfortunately and ironically, he was killed in this castle by his man. From different angles, the building looks completely different style.

The waiting line to go inside the castle is always a one hour factor to consider at weekends and holidays, but the inside of this castle is totally worth it...

Great place for historical exploration in St. Petersburg. Has been opened just a few years ago for public. Lot of great paint pictures.
