That was fun if you are open for playing on old machines which are partly operating!

Walk through the dodgy courtyard and you'll see the museum. Hand over some modern money in exchange for Soviet coins, and go nuts. The museum consists of a collection of Soviet arcade machine, most of them functioning (though as time goes on that is liable to change). You throw in a coin, play a few rounds, and read the informative plaque on the wall which tells you about the history of this game (which engineer had the bright idea if turning a surplus wheel and a lightbulb into a racing simulator), and this specific machine in particular (which abandoned summer camp it was found in). When you're done with the historic exhibits there is an area with some beanbags and more conventional consoles, if you want to brush up on your double dragon, and a kvass machine.

Absolutely worth the entry fee. You get 15 coins and that is enough to spend easily 1.5h there. But really be aware how old these machines are. 😅 Definitely try the Air Basketball for 2. Is is great fun.

We only chose to go here because it was an included museum through a museum pass. For that, it was fine. The museum seems like it desires to appeal to nostalgia. Being American and not middle school aged during the Soviet era, there was no nostalgia. It was a room of arcade games that weren’t very much fun. On top of free admission, we were asked to pay for the games. Overall, meh.

Nice place to go back a little bit to the Soviet time. It's nice that you can actually play the machines. Also the instructions are really helpful.
