Renaissance St. Petersburg Baltic Hotel

The hotel was very clean. The location was great, it is in the center of the city but still is quiet. The bar on the 74th floor has a great view of the Isaac Cathedral. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed staying there a lot and I highly recommend it!

Great hotel in general. The room walls are a bit thin but you'll get to the room tired from all the walking so it's hardly noticeable. The location is superb, close to a lot of places of interest. The food is good. The personal was very helpful and kind. Shout out to Natalie (trainee) who help us a lot!

Had a good stay here. Breakfast is not huge but has everything you need. Staff is overall good and efficient. Had a great corner room and overall was pretty quiet. Only retraction is the bizarre visa registration fee they feel the need to gather guests calling it a “city tax”. Been in Russia a month and no other accommodation, including Marriott properties, have charged this. Still recommend the property.

This hotel was in a great location at the center of the city and walking distance from major attractions. The room was good. On the other hand, the service was poor. Please be aware when booking tours with the receptionists. We booked a tour in English and were told that it would cost us 2500 Rubles but instead found out after the tour that we needed to pay 12,500 Rubels. We were not told the final price and were forced to pay for a driver for 5 hours, yet he was with us for 1 hour. We were not told the final price and felt deceived. This put a bad taste in our mouth and were very upset so please, when booking a tour, make sure to ask for the final price of the whole trip or even better, book it beforehand.

excellent breakfast and location is great. Rooms lack good natural light and gym is very claustrophobic. A good recommendation for visit to St Petersburg as its is conveniently located for walking to most of the cities attractions.
