The Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart

This is a beautiful church with a huge history full of martyrs. Right now is in reconstruction.

The church is beautiful with its baroque facade, but since June 2017 is under renovation, there is a sign there that announces they'll reopen on June 2018

Under reconstruction, what I saw looks great, an old arch and, in my opinion, the doors are in excellent shape, but the brick frame is destroyed. There is destruction.

As a child, when I was a little, this building was a scary place for me, because of its ugliness and closeness. Now he is restored to the historical appearance in the neo-Gothic style. I saw the photo inside - very beautiful. It is very cool that such a Catholic church will be in the Nevsky district. I can’t wait for the opening!

Interesting architecture, beautiful, but neglected building. I read the list of restoration works for 2019, laughed for a long time - the arrangement of the fence around the object. We are not talking about a forged fence or any other beautiful fence; the usual fence from a professional sheet is restoration work. It’s sad. The monument is worth exploring.
