It's a nice place, an old burger's house, sometimes it has tasty pasterys but in busy times its nasty, hosts are screaming trying sell as much stuff as they can and everything become chaotic. There is a basement just opened after renovation, all in all it's a good venue worth to visit just to enjoy the old upper medieval architecture

The house has the features of a North European medieval building. Similar buildings are often found in Germany, Riga and Tallinn. In Russia there are 3 of them (4 is a stretch), all of them are in Vyborg. The three-storey rectangular house is built of granite boulders and bricks with traces of earlier redevelopment. There is no reliable information about the time of construction. Perhaps this house still belonged to the Franciscan monastery of St. Geocint. Assumptions of the 16th -17th century are due to the inconsistency of the location of the house with the first city planning scheme of the 1640s. One of the first owners is considered the merchant Hans Sesemann, who came from Lubeck in the 17th century. The Sezemanov family was engaged in forestry and took an active part in the public life of the city. The next owner of the house at the end of the 18th century was most likely the Vyborg merchant Johann Niklas Janisch. At that time, the Janisz merchant family already owned a nearby knight's house, which was later transferred to the management of the city council. The last owners of the house, right up to the establishment of Soviet power in 1944, are considered the Hackmans - representatives of another famous Vyborg merchant family related to the Yanishi. In Soviet times, the house was used for housing. In 1979-1980, the restoration of the estate was carried out in order to stylize it in the medieval spirit. Now it houses a tourist information center with a museum exposition, a souvenir shop and a restaurant.

A pleasant place where you can make a wish, listen to stories, put on armor, and also treat yourself to a pretzel and a real Glog.
