Base "Baryshevo"

Baryshevo (until 1948 - Paakkola, Fin. Paakkola) [2] - a village in the Goncharovsky rural settlement of the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region. It is located 118 km from St. Petersburg. A former Finnish village, until 1939 it was part of the Eyuräpää parish of the Vyborg province of Finland. It was renamed in 1948 in memory of the commander of the artillery platoon of the 60th artillery regiment of the 92nd rifle division ml. Lieutenant Leonid Alexandrovich Baryshev (1925-1944).
