A wonderful and peaceful place. Without cheap pathos and brilliance of remake. Really built with the mind and care for convenience. Be sure to leave time for a leisurely walk in the park. Get both benefits for intelligence (museum) and Peace of mind from a walk.

Interesting museum. Better to take an excursion. The museum itself is not big. A lot of different pictures, you can watch for a long time. I advise you to visit;)

The cute mini-palace is a very cozy structure, everything inside is decorated with German restraint and practicality. It is part of the Orienbaum complex, the only complex under the joint venture that did not fall under destruction during the Second World War. But only when paying by card, DS are transferred to a certain "Great Houdini", unlike other cultural monuments, which clearly indicate belonging to Peterhof, it is a pity if the palace, a national treasure, was given to a private collector.

The Palace of Peter III is the first building of the architect A. Rinaldi that has survived to this day. 1758 - 1762. A small two-storey pavilion is crowned with a balustrade. The first floor is service, the second is front. Restrained laconic facade and at the same time a complex internal decorative finish. The largest room is the Picture Hall. There were originally 58 paintings, many of which were donated to the Academy of Arts. The lacquer painting on the panels and doors in the tradition of old Chinese painting is of great artistic value. Master Fyodor Vlasov performed according to the drawings of the painter Fyodor Danilov. Various skillful wood carvings by high-class Russian craftsmen. Modeling in the style of early classicism. Fabulous setting! Interesting Rococo furniture. The flower of the architect Rinaldi is in this palace for the first time.

The gates, completely closed by the film, and this rather modest outwardly mansion are all that survived from the Peterstadt fortress of 1762. The structure of Antonio Rinaldi has the shape of a square, one of the corners of which is cut in a smooth arc. Due to this, the palace is overlooked from three sides at once. The interior is striking elegance and sophistication. In the entire history of the palace, full-scale repair and restoration works were carried out in the 80s of the 19th century. During the years of Soviet power, the building was not subject to destruction. The only shell during the war hit the chimney. In this regard, lost a unique fireplace. Otherwise, an amazing degree of preservation can convey the atmosphere of the royal amusements of the mid-18th century.
