Stroganov Palace

Went here on a day off and was so happy. Great variety of beautiful rooms with different styles. Worth a visit.

If big museums are too big for you, this place is definitely for you. It is not busy, there are two parts: very nice interiors in 7-9 rooms, and an area with periodic exhibitions. Visit this place!

Old palace interiors in a rather big building. Some rooms are just amazing but some aren't fancy. General impression : it doesn't have enough financion. Not the top priority for short term tourists but if stay longer spare some time for the visit.

The palace is very centrally located on the Nevsky Prospekt. The parade rooms are very beautiful and there is a smaller but dignified exhibition to see. Perhaps suitable for those who do not visit old palaces otherwise.
