The church is known for the fact that on February 1, 1837, the funeral of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin took place here. After the Great October Socialist Revolution, the church was closed and the toilet was placed in the altar of the former temple.

A very interesting and atmospheric temple in the heart of the city. Inside there is such silence, you can’t even believe that you are in the center of a noisy city. It was in this temple that the burial service of Alexander Sergeyevna Pushkin took place. The temple is very interesting - I advise you to visit it, if not for the purpose of prayer, then educational.

I came here after learning on an excursion that Pushkin was buried in it. Not immediately found, unusual appearance, not like a temple. Inside is a good atmosphere. There are temples that "keep at a distance." It breathes easily and calmly, at home. Good people, then, at the temple.

Often we are near this place, a large area, and there is a free parking lot and you can always find a parking place. The fact that there is a temple learned from reviews. We’ll definitely come in. Externally, the building does not at all resemble a church. To my shame, I did not know that A.S. Pushkin.
